In order to apply for one of the scholarships, please write a very short explanation as to why you are financially unable to pay the full amount of this year's student fee. ( Between 100-200 words )

Details in this explanation may include:

  • How you have already contacted your university financial aid office for information on applying for a grant or other possible funding to cover your student fee.
  • How you have already read over our advice on applying for student financial aid and you have already applied to private, public or corporate foundations or contacted local businesses to help cover the cost of your student fee.
  • Your level of interest in attending the IYLC this year and what you will bring as a person to help contribute to the success of this conference.

Send your scholarship essay to scholarships@czechleadership.com. Please, include your full name, age, country, and university, in your email.

Before submitting an application, please email us at scholarships@czechleadership.com to inquire whether scholarship resources are still available. The decision of the Scholarship Committee as to your scholarship application will be communicated to you within 5 days after you submit your application. In the meantime, please continue to explore all other means of raising the necessary funds.

We are a young, underfunded educational organization that unfortunately does not have the money to award scholarships for the total amount of the student fee. However, we hope that our scholarship system is the fairest possible way for us to help qualified students to attend this year's conference regardless of the financial ability.

Thank you very much for your understanding and your cooperation.

We look forward to seeing you in Prague.
